The "Drac de Sitges", was introduced during the "Festa Major" of 1922, arriving at Sitges by ship. Nowadays, it still continues dancing in the Sitges traditional party, exactly the days 23rd and 24th of August and the 22nd and 23rd of September, dancing all around Sitges streets. The "Drac de Sitges" belongs to the traditional folk dances of Sitges, specially the fireworks dances together with the "Àliga" and the "Diables", where they dance with the fire. Twenty drums come with them, joining fire colour and powder smell, giving an infernal atmosphere.
